The town of South Fork is surrounded on three sides by the Rio Grande National Forest and some of the largest undisturbed wilderness areas in the country. The outdoor activities are countless... and you can find many more listed here:
The recreational hall and picnic areas at AspenRidge are great for family reunions.
Nearby the Rio Grande River and the South Fork River provide excellent trout fishing . If you prefer
there are many local lakes nearby. If you prefer biking, hiking or atv's there are many old logging
and mining trails close by for breath taking views at nature's finest.
